T-Hub Launches Flashpoint Venture Studio; Opens Agri-Tech & Space-Tech Tracks for Founder Applications

T-Hub, a home for startups, launched Flashpoint, a venture studio that co-builds companies with founders across India. Through Flashpoint, T-Hub and industry partners will define a problem and select founders to build a startup around it. Selected founders will gain operator-led mentorship and infrastructure from day zero, including access to labs, testbeds, and existing supply chains. T-Hub will support founders through its vibrant network of investors, mentors, and resource partners, while they keep 100% ownership with no equity dilution.

Kavikrut, CEO, T-Hub, said, “Flashpoint offers founders something genuinely valuable – an industry-validated problem to solve, an experienced operator to build it with, and access to resources and network of T-Hub. If you have the entrepreneurial bug and the passion to build something meaningful, but don’t know where to start, this is the right program for you.”

Speaking on the agri-tech track, Kaushik Kappagantulu, Co-Founder and CEO, Kheyti, said, “This is a full-circle moment for us. Kheyti started at T-Hub. We were among the first teams allocated space at the T-Hub campus at IIIT Hyderabad in 2015, and we were there when Mr. Ratan Tata inaugurated it. Ten years on, we are back at T-Hub as the partner, helping the next generation of agritech founders start where we started, and further our vision of making every smallholder farmer in India climate smart.”

Adding to this on the space-tech track, Sanjay Nekkanti, Co-Founder & CEO, Dhruva Space, said, “As India expands its presence in Space, the requirements for indigenous technology will grow across every part of the value chain. The opportunity is to build more satellites or launch systems, and also to develop the components, subsystems, software, data and services that will support a much larger Space economy. India has a deep pool of business, engineering and technical talent that can build these capabilities here and take them to global markets. The planned Bharatiya Antariksh Space Station will also create an entirely new environment for innovation, with opportunities for companies to develop technologies for in-orbit operations, servicing, research and other applications. Through Flashpoint, Dhruva Space is very excited to help founders take on these opportunities early, giving them access to the infrastructure, expertise and real-world environments they need to build and scale.”

Bombay Shaving Company Launches the Anandi Fellowship to Identify & Back India’s Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

Bombay Shaving Company has launched The Anandi Fellowship, a new initiative designed to identify and nurture entrepreneurial talent among young Indians at an early stage. Open to students currently in Class 11, Class 12 or the first year of undergraduate study, the fellowship aims to give aspiring entrepreneurs access to the kind of exposure, mentorship and opportunities that are typically available much later in a career.

Shantanu Deshpande, Founder and CEO, Bombay Shaving Company, said: “Entrepreneurship is usually discovered much later than it needs to be. By then, access, networks and financial circumstances have already shaped who gets the opportunity to build. The Anandi Fellowship is our attempt to change that equation, to find young people with the curiosity, grit and acumen to build, and give them real exposure, mentorship and eventually capital. We are not looking for students who have already built a company. We are looking for the potential to build one.”

Innovation Hub- AKTU Launches State-Wide Startup Ecosystem Platform at UP Startup Samvad 3.0

Marking a significant milestone in Uttar Pradesh’s journey towards building one of the most connected startup ecosystems in the country, the Innovation Hub at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has launched a state-wide digital ecosystem platform at its flagship event, UP Startup Samvad 3.0. Developed by Noida-based SanchiConnect, the platform brings startups, incubators, investors, mentors and innovation stakeholders onto a single connected system. Thirty-five incubators have already been onboarded, with the platform built to scale to the more than 70 incubators supported by the University across Uttar Pradesh.

Mahip Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Innovation Hub, AKTU, said: “Uttar Pradesh has no shortage of talent or ideas, what it has needed is a way for its startups, investors and markets to find each other. Our priority with this platform is to build a genuine investment and market access layer for the state’s startups. A founder in any district should be able to get in front of the right investor, the right corporate buyer and the right mentor, regardless of where they are based. This gives incubators and innovation centres across the state a shared foundation to make that happen at scale, and on an ongoing basis.”

Dr. Sunil K. Shekhawat, Co-Founder and CEO, SanchiConnect, said: “Three weeks is a tight timeline for infrastructure meant to serve an entire state’s startup ecosystem, but it is also proof that this kind of ecosystem-building can be done with urgency rather than treated as a years-long exercise. This platform will mainstream startups from cities like Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Agra, Jhansi and beyond, allowing them to leverage the mentor and investor base concentrated in Lucknow and Noida. Having built and deployed comparable state platforms, our focus here is the same: geography should stop being the reason a founder misses out on a mentor, an investor or an opportunity.”
