This course is primarily meant for those potential entrepreneurs who realise that they can benefit from a structured, rigorous programme which introduces them to the basics of starting and operating a business enterprise. The programme will be conducted at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), one of the leading B-schools in India. The workshop sessions will be conducted by entrepreneurs, professors and industry experts.
It will be a full time residential programme. The programme will be divided into three modules spread over 11 months. The first module will be four months of workshop-based teaching and it will introduce you to primary skills to start and manage a business. In the second module, you will be placed as interns in startups for about six months. The internship will give you a firsthand view of an entrepreneurial process. It will serve to introduce you to multitasking in an unstructured environment. In the third module, you will spend time in the campus and this period will have a combination of workshop sessions and one-to-one mentoring. You will work towards finalizing your business plans and working out the specifics of getting started on your proposed businesses, including registering the business and raising funds.
