Tie-up: Indian electronic gadgets platform XtraCover partners with Acer to sell its out-of-warranty spare parts in India

XtraCover – a new-age platform for electronic gadgets has recently announced an exclusive partnership agreement with Acer to sell its out-of-warranty spare parts in India.

As a part of the partnership agreement, XtraCover will help Acer retain its customers by offering seamless after-sales support services involving out-of-warranty parts. As seen in the recent trends, consumers are moving towards a quick and hassle-free experience whether it involves the purchase or the after-sales service. This pan-India partnership will ensure that XtraCover offers Acer’s genuine parts to its customers whose devices are out of warranty. The company’s ASP will also be geared to fix the spares on-site.

Talking about the exclusive partnership, Soumitra Gupta, CEO of XtraCover said, “The customer options of finding genuine spare parts is complex. By partnering with Acer, we shall bring about higher efficiency in delivering Acer’s genuine spare parts, thus ensuring a smoother supply chain. We are delighted to have Acer as our partner in the journey of solving customer experience related to out-of-warranty service and sourcing genuine spare parts.”

The complete project involving genuine Acer spares will be managed by XtraCover. It will also provide a 3-month warranty for all spares sold.

The platform also announced its partnership with Onsitephones Pvt. Ltd. for the national distributorship of XtraCover’s XCQC – tested and trusted certification tool for refurbished mobiles.

XtraCover operates in B2C and B2B2C segments and is the only organized player geared to offer end-to-end device lifecycle management services. Since the global pandemic, the e-commerce platform has witnessed an exponential customer demand for refurbished products and after-sales services. It is also planning to foray into international markets through dedicated Export-Oriented Units (EOUs) in India.
