Startup Saturdays are one of India’s oldest and most consistently organized Startup events. They are organized by Headstart Network Foundation, a non profit company committed to transforming India through entrepreneurship. Startup Saturday Bangalore is definitely one of the most happening and vibrant entrepreneur support groups in India.
The events at SS Bangalore are designed to facilitate networking among entrepreneurs and create an environment of inspiration where you come and listen to stories of successful entrepreneurs from the city and learn new skills month after month. Happening on the 2nd Saturday of every month, participants have found the events to be inspiring, insightful and immensely useful for networking.
For November 2013, SS Bangalore has collaborated with Unc|L to bring Unconvention|L Bengaluru Event, an event where you will have the opportunity to hear the inspiring stories of successful social entrepreneurs, network with sector leaders, and connect to a larger eco-system of support and opportunities.
It is part of Unconvention|L, a national series of events organised by Villgro, a leading social enterprise incubator, designed to inspire budding local social entrepreneurs and nurture a social enterprise movement across India.
Priced at Rs.200, the event is organized on November 9th 2013 from 9:00 AM to 2 P.M. As part of the event, participants would get to hear the history and concept behind Social Entreprise and its importance from Paul Basil, Founder & CEO Villgro. Noted social entrepreneurs such as Svati Bhogle(Sustaintech), Vishal Talreja(Cofounder & Executive Director Dream A Dream) and Sameer Segal(Founder & CEO, Artoo) would share their inspirational stories. There would also be a panel discussion on funding opportunities available in Social and 3 pitching sessions in between. Lots of networking opportunities await the participants too!
