International trade has been in some upheaval with tariffs playing a significant role. For example, as per a report from Rubix Data Sciences, India emerged as Indonesia’s third-largest export destination in Q2 2025 amid trade realignment. With India overtaking Japan in Q2 2025 in this regard, the two countries are emerging as increasingly important economic partners in the region. This development comes as Indonesia recorded its fastest GDP growth in two years at 5.12% in Q2, supported by policy reforms, digital investments and strong domestic demand.

Indian Pharma Company Receives First UK MHRA Approval for Rivaroxaban

Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has received its first product approval from the United Kingdom Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (UK MHRA) for Rivaroxaban, with Akums as the Marketing Authorisation (MA) holder.
