[Infographic] Online shopping trends in Fashion Category : Snapdeal and Flipkart are rated best in the Industry

Couple of days back, we brought to you the insights from a report done by Accel Partners on how e-commerce industry in India is shaping up.  Taking this a step further, Baggout came up with an interesting survey on online shopping trends in Fashion Category. Total of 243 respondents took the survey, and here are the highlights –

  • 50% respondents buy Fashion products online atleast once a month
  • 52% respondents buy clothes, followed by footwear at 35%

  • Ease of Shopping and Discounts & Deals are the main reasons to shop online
  • 82% of the respondents said that biggest problem while buying online is the lack of touch and feel, and the ability to check for fitting

  • Flipkart tops retailers, myntra and jabong top in vertical sites when compared on product collection and ease of navigation
  • Snapdeal and Flipkart are rated best in the Industry

By looking at the responses, it feels that the next revolution in online shopping is to enable virtual fitting experience for the shoppers, thereby removing the biggest roadblock. Here’s the infographic for your reading pleasure –
