NASSCOM SME Advantage Program Offers Discounted Remote Connectivity for SMEs

National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM)’s SME Advantage program offers discounted remote connectivity.

Remote work has become the #NewNormal, making it indispensable for businesses to adapt to available tools and solutions, in-order to execute a robust business continuity plan

The pandemic and its infectious nature, along with government restrictions and regulations, is forcing more and more Indian employers to facilitate work from home for their employees. However, it’s not easy to suddenly set up office at a home without sound infrastructure and internet connections.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which are bearing the brunt of this problem, can get some relief with the NASSCOM SME Advantage program’s latest offer. The program has joined hands with TeamViewer, a remote connectivity solutions firm, to provide NASSCOM members access to TeamViewer’s remote connectivity technologies and licenses.

These include Asset Management and Augmented Reality (AR)-based video support solutions at exclusive prices. They are offering their memebers upto 30% discount on TeamViewer products.

Gaurav Hazra, Senior Director & Head – India Markets at NASSCOM said, “Remote work has become the #NewNormal, making it indispensable for businesses to adapt to available tools and solutions, in-order to execute a robust business continuity plan. With the intent to build a conducive business environment for our SME members and commitment to support them through these trying times, I am delighted to collaborate with TeamViewer under our NASSCOM SME Advantage Program.”

The program is designed to build a robust ecosystem to support SME growth and development.

“With our solutions for remote working and remote support companies can ensure business continuity and support their employees efficiently. We are excited and look forward for this engagement and also get our innovative solutions in internet of things and augmented reality available to SME.” Krunal Patel, the Director and Head of Business, India and South Asia, said.

The SME Advantage Program Benefits

The program is a NASSCOM SME Council initiative, designed only for NASSCOM members. It offers a consolidated set of services to their SME member organizations at subsidised prices with the goal of reducing operational costs and increasing indirect ROI.

Under its scope the program has already added several benefits. For example, they have a health insurance plan in association with Religare Health Insurance. They also offer 50% discount on remote connectivity tools by LogMeIn and accommodation solutions by OYO.

Other benefits in the wings include cloud services, hardware support, antivirus software, working capital provision etc.

Scale Up on Remote

As the business sector learns to work and live with COVID-19, SMEs will be wise to scale up their remote working capabilities. The reason is that dependencies on physically-present humans might not be a viable option for a long time to come. Thus, SMEs must learn to scale and not just make do with contact-less ways of continuing their daily operations. NASSCOM’s collaboration with TeamViewer could show this light to many confused SMEs.
