MeraEvents Partners With Uber to Offer a Free Ride to Its Customers

MeraEvents, India’s largest event technology solutions provider partners with Uber Technologies. Uber is a mobile app, recently funded by Google, that seamlessly connects riders to local, licensed, professional drivers and facilitates a safe, reliable and stylish ride. Any customer of MeraEvents can get an exclusive offer of two free Uber rides up to Rs. 500 each. All they have to do to buy tickets on www.Meraevents.com to get Uber’s promo code to avail the free offer.

MeraEvents customers can avail this offer from Uber in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai and across the country where Uber has its presence. Uber can also be used globally in 76 cities across 31 countries.

Earlier, we did an article on the top 10 ticketing platforms in India. This is a smart move by MeraEvents, which faces competition from players such as Explara and others in this market. Interestingly, we had an official tweet from Explara which reads – “Want to offer ‘carpooling/ride sharing’ for your next event?Coming soon a new partnership on @explara!” on March 31st. We’ll keep watching for exciting news in this space and keep you all posted!
