Magicpin & Onsurity collaborate to provide merchant partners healthcare membership with INR 1 lakh health insurance

Magicpin & Onsurity collaborate to provide merchant partners healthcare membership with INR 1 lakh health insurance
Local merchants and their workforce are the lifeblood of our country and despite being affected by the pandemic, they have continued to serve us. Keeping this in mind, Onsurity, an Indian tech-enabled employee healthcare platform for emerging businesses, and Magicpin an Indian savings app, have come together to launch a pioneering healthcare membership program.
Via this program, Magicpin‘s merchant partners and their employees will be able to access free healthcare membership for three months. This includes a health insurance cover of INR 1 lakh (COVID and non-COVID expenses), accidental insurance up to INR 3 lakh, along with significant discounts on teleconsultations and medicines.
We are excited to work with Magicpin as it furthers our vision to provide comprehensive affordable healthcare benefits to SMEs
Earlier this month, Magicpin put together a team of volunteers to locate beds, medicines, and oxygen to help over 1.5 lakh merchant partners and several thousands of people these partners have employed. One of the valuable insights that they gleaned was that several of their merchant partners do not have adequate health cover.
To give back to their partnersMagicpin decided to partner with Onsurity to come up with this innovative idea. Onsurity offers a unique, monthly healthcare membership with instant purchase, healthcare card and have an unmatched, dedicated claims support team.
Commenting on the partnership, Yogesh Agarwal, Founder and CEO at Onsurity said, “We are excited to work with Magicpin as it furthers our vision to provide comprehensive affordable healthcare benefits to SMEs. Our technology-led flexible product and monthly membership have allowed us to onboard the merchants seamlessly ensuring their teams have access to adequate healthcare.”
Small retailers are an integral part of the Magicpin community and the overall economy
This healthcare initiative is an effort on Magicpin’s part to do their bit for small businesses and their staff. Sharing his thoughts on the rollout, Brij Bhushan, co-founder and COO at Magicpin, said, “Small retailers are an integral part of the Magicpin community and the overall economy. We are seeing first-hand the impact of COVID on our retailer partners. This healthcare membership along with the group health insurance is a small step by us to help the community in a time of need.”
