Entertainment Tech Upgrade: Zooppy Brings Gaming Leagues in Regional Languages for Movie Lovers

This fantasy gaming and movie platform is leveraging the penetration of Internet boom in local language content and video.

Zooppy, the Indian online fantasy platform for movies have launched two new initiatives for movie lovers. It has launched gaming leagues in regional languages and new video leagues with increase in prize money. Apart from English, the gaming leagues will be available in regional languages.

The inclusion of regional language is a step towards increasing the user base. It is simple and easy to play and participants who answer the questions in the least time win. Film-based yes or no questions, multiple choice questions and picture puzzles are available in the app. Additionally, video leagues are available each week and come with the latest trending videos in India.

We aim to use the vernacular to gain from the huge market available in semi-urban India. Moreover, movies being a passion in India, we aim to capture market share in the gaming segment,” Yuva Pushpakar, Founder of Zooppy, said in a statement.

Video League

In the video league, participants have to choose videos from a list of YouTube videos provided in the league. The videos have to be chosen in a way that the views attained by the video will be the highest. Each video has a credit, and the user is given 1000 credits to make a list. Participants who choose the list of videos with the maximum number of views in YouTube are rewarded cash prizes.

Since the launch, Zooppy users have won smartphones such as iPhone 12 Pro Max, One plus 8 T, iPhone 12 Mini etc. The prizes were distributed by Sunny Leone in Mumbai last month.

A Combo of Fantasy Gaming and Movies

Zooppy aims to provide an engagement platform for movie lovers through technology, creativity, and innovation. The platform brings together the elements of fantasy gaming and movies is the first one to venture on the combination of movie fantasy gaming platforms. It is live on Apple and Android devices across India.

The journey of Zooppy began with five techie enthusiast’s passion to build a tech related venture in combination with cinema. The company believed that the passion creates excitement, which led to this exciting and fresh idea. The company is led by Kerala based tech enthusiasts Yuva Pushpakar, Athul P. Raj, Mefin Davis, Jose Thomas, Renjith Robert, Deepak Uthaman and Mejo Johnson.
