Delegates to Horasis India Meeting 2022 head to Vietnam for their first in-person meeting since the outset of the pandemic

Indian business leaders and their global counterparts should pay attention to what’s happening in Vietnam right now as the in-person first Horasis India meeting heads to Binh Duong New City between September 25th to 26th to discuss lingering challenges from the pandemic as we enter a new era of permanent volatility

Founded in 2009 by Dr. Frank Jurgen-Richter, Horasis India Meeting has become the foremost annual meeting for Indian business leaders to discuss sustainable growth strategies and tackle the most significant challenges facing both emerging economies.

2022’s meeting represents a joint effort between the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Binh Duong’s Provincial government, and the meeting’s main sponsor Becamex IDCl, and will host 300 of the most senior members of the Horasis community – including delegates from India and abroad.

As multinationals flee China due to its chaotic and secretive handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, and with the Chinese housing market (which represents approximately ? of the country’s GDP) now entering a severe depression, it appears that Vietnam has entered the fray as the next candidate for the world’s global manufacturing hub.

Horasis India plans on exploring how this emerging power dynamic in Southeast Asia affects the region and its relationship with Indian business and politics.

Topics for this year’s sessions will center around lessons we’ve learned over the past 2 years, including what lies ahead for the future of Indian manufacturing, sustainability, and digital currencies, and how India’s government decision-making and its business decision-making apparatuses were revitalized by the pandemic.
